Not very durable

Worked awesome for like 1 week then started falling apart, the heat shielding is fantastic but plan on a new pair often. Developed holes at seams that slag goes to like a black hole gravity well. Nice gloves but you must change gloves to do prep work and any prefab, the leather is very soft and cuts easily.

Weld Aluminum using MIG

I'm a student learning to weld all sorts of methods and materials in a welding shop. A MIG Aluminum job came in and the guys were burning up doing 6 foot runs. I let them try these and the instructor ordered 4 pair for the shop. Too bad you can't just order a left hand glove. The price is up there, but they are amazing when you need them and nothing else works as well.

love how they integrated a heat shield on the glove ...

Running lots of pipe can be hard on gloves and I was going through a pair a week with the tillman gloves. SO I thought id give these a go. These seem to have a longer life span. love how they integrated a heat shield on the glove without hindering you motion to weld. Keeps the heat away from the inside and prevents the glove from shirking and getting hard.

Don’t last long enough

They only lasted through 4 moment welds Too much $$ for the use you get Iam a welding iron worker (big steel ,lots of heat )

Size recommendations

I would recommend getting a size larger than your normal gloves they shrink

Didn't last a week in a professional environment.

I am a mig welder by trade. Unfortunately the gloves didn't last a full week before they started getting holes in the aluminized part. I chucked them and went back to less expensive plain leather gloves and a aluminized guard since the guards are far cheaper to replace and seem to actually last longer...
